JNVST form released
The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2026 notification for Class 6 admissions is officially released on June 2, 2025, by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS).

- Application Start Date: June 1, 2025
- Last Date to Apply: July 29, 2025
- Phase 1 Exam Date: December 13, 2025
- Phase 2 Exam Date: April 11, 2026
The entire application process is online and free of charge. Candidates must apply through the official website.
✅ Eligibility Criteria (Expected)
- The candidate must be studying in Class 5 in a recognized school during the academic year 2025–26.
- Date of Birth should be between May 1, 2014, and July 31, 2016 (inclusive).
- The student must apply from the district where they are currently studying.
- 75% of the seats are reserved for rural students.
- The student must not have previously appeared for the JNVST exam.
📝 Exam Pattern
The JNVST Class 6 exam consists of 80 objective-type questions for a total of 100 marks, divided into three sections:
